Privacy Policy

Tobi Tools ("the app") is an Android productivity app offering AI-assisted tools. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and display name. These identify your account and are stored with our authentication provider (Supabase).
• Usage counters. We count the number of AI requests you make per day to enforce your plan's daily quota. We store counts only — these counters are deleted automatically after 14 days.
• Purchase state. When you buy a subscription or one-time unlock, Google Play processes the payment. We receive and store a purchase token and the resulting plan state (e.g. "Pro until <date>") so your benefits work across devices. We never see your payment details.

Your AI prompts

• When you use the built-in free or Pro AI service, the text you submit is relayed through our server to an AI provider to generate the response. We do not store the content of your prompts or the AI's responses — they pass through and are discarded.
• If you connect your own API key ("BYOK"), the app talks to your chosen AI provider directly; that traffic never touches our servers, and the provider's own privacy policy applies.
• Tasks, to-do lists, and tool inputs you keep in the app are stored locally on your device, not on our servers.

What we don't do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers.
• No selling or sharing of your data with third parties for their purposes.
• No tracking across other apps or websites.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the service: Supabase (authentication and database), Google Play (billing), our hosting provider (API server), and an AI model provider (processing of AI requests as described above). Each receives only what is necessary for its function.

Security

All traffic between the app, our servers, and our providers is encrypted in transit (TLS). API keys you store for BYOK are kept in your device's encrypted storage and are never uploaded to our servers.

Data retention & deletion

Usage counters are deleted automatically after 14 days. Account and purchase records are retained while your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at the address below; we will complete the deletion within 30 days.

Children

Tobi Tools is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and note the new date above.
